New Kidney Dialysis Center opening in Kona

U.S. Renal Care invites the community to a special dedication ceremony and open house for its Kona Coast Clinic on Sunday, December 14 at 10:00 AM

Located at: 74-5588 Palani Road in Kailua-Kona, the 10,000 square foot, state-of-the-art dialysis center, which includes 22 dialysis stations, is designed to meet the growing need for kidney care on Hawaii Island.

In addition to advanced medical technology, patients will enjoy amenities including free Wi-Fi, cable television, and heated massage chairs.

Chronic kidney disease affects one in seven people in Hawaii, a rate 30% higher than the national average. Approximately 7,000 residents statewide require dialysis, and that number grows by 5% annually. Until now, Hawaii Island had only one dialysis provider, leaving patients with limited options.

The Kona clinic will operate Monday through Saturday, 4:30 AM – 8:00 PM, providing flexible scheduling for patients.

This marks U.S. Renal Care’s 20th dialysis center in Hawaii, following the opening of its Hilo clinic two years ago.
