Static-X share bonus track ‘Down’ from 25th anniversary box set edition of ‘Wisconsin Death Trip’

Static-X will release a 25th anniversary edition of their debut project Wisconsin Death Trip, available on December 12th. Released in 1999, Wisconsin Death Trip featured the iconic lineup of Wayne Static, Koichi Fukuda, Tony Campos, and Ken Jay and featured the hit songs “Push It,” “ I’m With Stupid,” and “Bled For Days.”

In anticipation of the new box set, the band have shared the visualizer for the bonus track ‘Down,’ which features never-before-seen images by original band photographer Exum, and actual video filmed on the set of the 1998 photoshoot.  The band shares: “We’ve always known there were gems buried in the Wisconsin Death Trip archives, but seeing Exum’s images come to life in this new visualizer feels like stepping back into 1998. ‘Down’ was a track we always loved and giving it this new visual energy is our way of celebrating Wayne, the album, and the fans who have kept this music alive for 25 years.”

The band reunited with the original producer Ulrich Wild for the remastered Wisconsin Death Trip (25th Anniversary Corrosive Edition) and is comprised of two handmade, orange and black eclipse vinyl with remastered versions of the original album audio, presented in a comprehensive box set, filled with bonus tracks and never-before-seen artwork; as well as a second disc of demos, alternate versions, and rare tracks.

The band’s Wisconsin Death Trip lineup of Tony Campos, Koichi Fukuda, & Ken Jay – in addition to current vocalist/guitarist Xer0 – will be on the road throughout 2025. In addition to their previous festival appearances at Louder Than Life and Aftershock, the band will serve as support for Mudvayne on their headlining tour in addition to performing their own headlining shows.

Limited edition deluxe versions of Wisconsin Death Trip include signed prints, laser engraved ID tag, ID bracelet with QR code linking to the full 8mm BTS video footage of the Wisconsin Death Trip photo shoot, pill bottle, stickers and more and is only available at www.static-x.com.
