21 year-old Einreb John Pasuquin Dizon of Alberta, Canda was charged with Sexual Assault in the First Degree involving a 14-year-old minor.
The incident occurred between October 23 and October 31 after the two met on the online gaming platform Roblox.
Dizon traveled to Hawai‘i Island where he met the minor multiple times at an Airbnb in Waikoloa.
Yesterday Dizon appeared in Kona District Court, where his bail was set at $250,000.
A grand jury later indicted him on one count of Sexual Assault in the First Degree, a Class A felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. His arraignment in Circuit Court is pending.
The case is being prosecuted by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Annaliese Wolf.
