23 year-old Aceson Domingo recently arraigned in Hilo Circuit Court for child pornography charges.
On October 6, 2025, Domingo was charged by Indictment with one count of Promoting Child Abuse in the First Degree, one count of Promoting Child Abuse in the Third Degree, and one count of Promoting Pornography for Minors.
The most serious offense, Promoting Child Abuse in the First Degree, is a Class A felony offense which carries a maximum penalty of twenty years in prison.
Following his arraignment, Domingo was released on $35,000 bail with conditions that he not have contact with any minors, either in person or online. A Jury trial is scheduled for February 3, 2026.
The investigation was referred to the Hawai‘i Police Department through the Hawai‘i Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force as it was initiated in another jurisdiction through concerns of online child exploitation. The investigation is being handled by Detective Chandler Nacino, Vice West Section, Hawai‘i Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Annaliese Wolf.
