National Park Visitors Give $400,000 in Donations to Support Hawaiʻi and American Samoa Parks

Since October 2024, visitors to national parks in Hawaiʻi and American Samoa have donated $400,000 through checkout contributions at HPPA visitor center stores.

These donations directly support local parks, helping protect wildlife and preserve cultural sites.

The Hawaiʻi Pacific Parks Association has worked in partnership with the National Park Service for more than 92 years, and currently helps to support seven national park sites in Hawaiʻi and American Samoa.
