Police Seeking Suspect in Hilo Assault Investigation

Hawai‘i Island police are seeking public assistance in identifying a person of interest in an ongoing assault investigation stemming from an April 27 incident in Hilo.

The individual, who was captured on surveillance footage at a business on the 100 block of Puainako Street, is described as a Caucasian man in his 20s to 30s, approximately 6 feet tall, with short blond hair and possibly unshaven.
