Second Annual HI-PAL T-Ball Tournament Held in Hilo

Over 250 six to eight year-old keiki competed in the second annual Hawai‘i Island Police Activities League (HI-PAL) coach-pitch/T-ball baseball tournament.

Hosted by the Hawai‘i County Police Department (HPD) at the Kawananakoa Gym, the two-day tournament which was held on Saturday, January 27, and Sunday, January 28. A total of 19 teams participated in the tournament with the Lincoln Wreckers Gold clinching the first place title and the West Side Hammers in second place. HI-PAL is a Hawaiʻi County Police Department program where police officers mentor youth in various activities.
