Hawaii Magazine changes hands

HONOLULU (AP) _ PacificBasin Communications has announced it's acquired Hawaii Magazine from BowTie Incorporated. The purchase price of the bimonthly magazine with a paid circulation of 75-thousand wasn't disclosed. BowTie was known as Fancy Publications in 1988 when it acquired the magazine founded four years earlier by Richard Gibson in Sun City, California. PacificBasin also owns a number of other publications, including Honolulu Magazine, Hawaii Business and Hawaii Home and Remodeling. (Copyright 2006 Associated Press. All rights reserved)
