Kamehameha ruling delayed

(Honolulu-AP) -- A federal judge has put off ruling on another case involving Kamehameha Schools.
The multi- (b) billion dollar trust was handed a big legal victory on Monday, when Kamehameha's Hawaiians-only admissions policy was upheld.
A second, similar case was addressed in federal court yesterday.
But U-S District Judge David Ezra says he won't rule for two to three weeks in the case of a non-Hawaiian student -- 12-year-old Brayden Mohica-Cummings.
The Kauai boy was accepted to the school but Kamehameha rescinded its offer after learning he's not Hawaiian.
Ezra ordered Kamehameha to admit the boy in August, pending a decision on his challenge to the school's admissions policy.
Ezra says when he does rule on the case, his decision will be independent of the one handed down Monday by federal Judge Alan Kay.
