HONOLULU (AP) _ Cindy Sheehan, who drew international attention when she camped outside President Bush's ranch to protest the Iraq war, is scheduled to begin a three-island speaking tour today.
Sheehan, who became known as ``Peace Mom,'' became the face of the anti-war movement last summer when she went to Crawford, Texas, to confront Bush about the war. During the 26-day vigil that followed, hundreds of people joined her.
Her soldier son Casey died in Iraq in 2004.
The Californian will speak tomorrow night at First United Methodist Church of Honolulu. She will travel to Maui for a talk Sunday night at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.
On Monday, Sheehan will give two talks on the Big Island.
She will be at the University of Hawaii-Hilo at noon and Aloha Theatre at night time.
