HONOLULU (AP) _ Drug use among Hawaii employees is on the rise.
Diagnostic Laboratory Services says nearly six percent of all employees tested over the past three months tested positive for drugs.
One out of every 50 employees in the sample, tested positive for crystal methamphetamine.
Marijuana is still tops the list with two-point-six percent of applicants testing positive.
D-L-S director Carl Linden says employers are finding it harder to lure and retain drug-free employees.
D-L-S is the largest drug testing company in the state, handling testing for 700 businesses.
