Text messaging causes accident near Sandy Beach

HONOLULU (AP) _ A Kailua man who was text-messaging while driving suffered mild injuries after he crossed lanes and crashed against an incoming truck. The 52-year-old's B-M-W flipped over on Kalanianaole Highway near Sandy Beach this afternoon. The truck's driver _ a 19-year-old Waipahu man _ also sustained minor injuries.
