HONOLULU (AP) _ Hawaiian Airlines has delayed a hearing on its reorganization plan for a second time while it tries to reach contract agreement with unions representing its employees.
The postponement to February 22nd ensures that the company's Chapter 11 reorganization will extend into a third year. Hawaiian Air filed for bankruptcy protection on March 21st, 2003.
A hearing on a competing reorganization plan may still be held on February 8th.
The company's plan is being proposed by trustee Joshua Gotbaum, investment group R-C Aviation and the airline's unsecured creditors' committee.
