Bank files to foreclose on Waihee home
|

HONOLULU (AP) _ A bank is seeking to seize the home of former Governor John Waihee.
According to a foreclosure lawsuit filed by Bank of Hawaii, Waihee and his wife, Lynne, still owe more than 800-thousand dollars on the first and second mortgages on the Nuuanu home they purchased after the former politician completed his second term in 1994.
The bank is seeking to seize and auction the home.
Waihee was out of town and not immediately available for comment.
