Artist accuses website of copyright infringement

By 67AM KPUA News

A Big Island artist who sells his work at an island gallery and online through his Tiki Shark website says another site has ripped off his work and now he has filed a lawsuit.

Brad Parker says CafePress.com allowed one of his works, "Forbidden Island" to be plastered on numerous items it sells online. Parker says the issue came to light when body glove canceled a quarter million dollar order because the image it wanted exclusively was being readily sold at CafePress.com.

The copyright infringement lawsuit doesn't include a dollar amount. CafePress.com. says the case has no merit.
