Pepe`ekeo pair arrested for series of break-ins

A Pepe`ekeo man and woman have been arrested and charged in connection with several break-ins during the month of January in the Pepe`ekeo and Nīnole areas. 21-year old Shaylyn Araw and 22-year old Robert Navor were charged following their arrest on Monday with multiple counts of burglary and theft, while Navor faces additional charges of forgery and unauthorized possession of confidential information. 34-year old Manuel Madrid of Pepe`keo was arrested on suspicion of hindering prosecution for aiding and sheltering Araw and Navor, but was released Monday pending further investigation.
