Police arrest 31 for drunk driving

Police arrested 31 motorists for drunk driving during the week ending March 10, 2013. The year to date total now stands at 241, which is off 11.7 percent from the 273 arrested during the same period last year. There have been 244 major accidents, compared to 301 a year ago, which is down 18.9 percent. And this year’s nine traffic fatalities are up 28.6 percent from the seven recorded at this time in 2012.
