Opihi picker pulled from ocean at King’s Landing

An opihi picker got into trouble when a large wave swept him into the ocean Friday Morning at King’s Landing in Hilo. Fire and rescue crews were sent to the scene,where they learned that he had been pulled to shore by bystanders shortly after 8:00 a.m. The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to the hospital for further treatment.
