Pu`u O`o lava still entering ocean

Lava from Kilauea volcano continues to enter the ocean on multiple fronts with points inside and outside of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park. Two flows are being fed via lava tubes from Pu`u O`o crater including the Peace Day flow, with active breakouts three miles southeast and featuring several branches on the pali and coastal plain entering the ocean at two points. Volcano watchers say the main branch is entering the ocean with minor surface activity near the coast.
