Gabbard weighs in on drone policy

Hawai`i congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard waded into the issue of using drones on domestic soil during a Sunday appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press. The Hawai`i Democrat said in response to a question from host David Gregory that congress has a responsibility to hold hearings on President Barack Obama’s policy because its an important discussion that the American people and congress are concerned about, and parameters need to be set for what the policy will be. The policy has become a hot topic of discussion after Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul staged a 13-hour filibuster last week.
