Police arrest 25 for drunk driving

Police arrested 25 motorists for drunk driving during the week ending March 3, 2013. The year to date total now stands at 210, which is down 15.7 percent from the 249 arrested at this time last year. Major accidents are off by 16.2 percent with 228 compared to 272 a year ago. But this year’s nine traffic fatalities are up by 50 percent over the six recorded during the same period in 2012.
