Eight arrested in Kona drug raid

Eight Kona residents were arrested Monday when police executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on Seaview Circle in Kailua-Kona, where they recovered various amounts of methamphetamine, dried marijuana, drug paraphernalia, prescription pills and several rounds of unspent ammunition. Joseph Garcia-Hine, Jackie Holder, John Jones, Kahulaaona Kalili-Jones, Anthony McPherson and Brandon Post were all charged with various drug offenses on Tuesday. Garcia-Hine also faces firearms charges. The other two were released without charges pending further investigation.
