Hilo man charged with Kona burglaries

A Hilo man has been charged with three counts of first-degree burglary and second-degree theft for a trio of burglaries that occurred in Kona last year. Jaren Larinaga-Napihaa was arrested in Hilo last Thursday on two counts of failing to appear in court and on suspicion of burglary. He was charged on Friday in connection with two burglaries in the Seaview Circle Subdivision on August 29 and the October 30th burglary off Old Māmalahoa Highway in Hōlualoa.
