Vulcans seventh at Burns Golf Tourney

The California men’s golf team ended up atop the leader board after Wednesday’s first round of the John Burns Intercollegiate Tournament at the Turtle Bay Resort’s Arnold Palmer Course. The Golden Bears fired a 4-under par 284 in windy and rainy conditions to grab a three shot lead over New Mexico. UH Hilo was in seventh place at 8 over 296, while UH Manoa was tied for eighth another 6 shots back.
