Konawaena/Hawai`i Prep win BIIF hoop titles

Konawaena won the Boy’s BIIF Division I Basketball Title with a 68-55 victory over Kamehameha-Hawai`i Saturday at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. The Division II Championship went to Hawai`i Prep, who whipped Pahoa 64-39. All four teams now move on to the Boy’s State High School Basketball Tournament that runs Wednesday through Saturday on O`ahu.
