UH Hilo softball team splits with Academy of Art

The University of Hawai`i at Hilo softball team split a pair of weekend doubleheaders with Pac West Conference rival Academy of Art University. The Urban Knights swept the Vulcans on Friday by scores of 4-3 and 4-1, but UH Hilo returned the favor on Saturday by capturing both ends of their twin bill 4-2 and 8-5 to improve to 9-7 on the season.
