Shipping company reports increase in agriculture products brief

KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii (AP) — A Hawai`i company that ships cargo between the islands says shipments of agricultural products increased in 2012. The year-end report from Young Brothers reveals the volume of agricultural products moved across the state was up 11.6 percent in 2012 compared to the previous year. Company Vice-President Roy Catalani, attributed the increase to a renewed interest in buying locally-grown products.
