HONOLULU (AP) — Emergency crews and the military were called to a Honolulu home on Oahu after receiving a report of an ordnance in the front yard.
KITV-TV reports that fire crews were called to the Haleiwa neighborhood home at around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.
When fire officials arrived, they found an ordnance that was a couple of feet long. The Honolulu Police Department's bomb squad was called in. Military officials at Schofield Barracks also were contacted.
A resident at the home said the ordnance was left behind by a former tenant.
