Augustana takes 3 of 4 from Vulcans

The University of Hawai`i at Hilo baseball team opened up its 2013 season over the weekend by dropping 3 of 4 games to visiting Augustana College at Wong Stadium. The two teams split Friday’s doubleheader with the visitors winning the opener 4-3 while the Vulcans won the nightcap 10-1. Augustana swept both ends of Saturday’s twinbill by scores of 16-13 and 8-6.
