Pohakuloa opens for weekend bow hunting

POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawai`i—Pohakuloa Training Area will open several areas to bow hunting only on Saturday and Sunday February 2 and 3. Training Areas 1-4 and 9-15 will be open for mammal hunting between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. No early access to hunting areas is permitted and everyone must check out by 7:30 p.m. each day. Hunters can check in and check out at the Kilohana or Huluhulu Hunter’s check in station where hunting passes will be available today after 5:00 p.m.
