Gas prices rise throughout most of the state

Retail gasoline prices increased again throughout most of the state last week, according to the AAA Hawai`i Weekend Gas Watch. The statewide average for a gallon of regular unleaded increased to $4.11 per gallon, which was three cents more than last week, 13 cents more than last month and the same price on this day last year. In Hilo, the average price rose four cents over the previous week to $4.13 per gallon, which 12 cents more than last month and 15 cents less than this time a year ago.
