Police arrest 17 for drunk driving

Police arrested 17 motorists for drunk driving during the week ending January 27, 2013. The year to date total now stands at 85, or 6.6 percent less than the 91 nabbed at this time last year. Major accidents to date stand at 88, which is down 17.2 percent from the 99 recorded a year ago. And there have been 7 traffic fatalities thus far in 2013, compared to none at this time in 2012.
