Hearing in Puna murder case postponed

A preliminary hearing for two cousins charged in the disappearance of a 44-year old Hawaiian Acres man has been rescheduled for next Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. 30-year old Claude Keone Krause and 19-year old Kawena Krause were charged with second degree murder and several other charges after police recovered a surveillance video they say shows them killing Dante Peter Gilman during a December 28 altercation at his home. District Judge Harry Freitas agreed to postpone Thursday’s hearing to give defense attorneys more time to review the evidence with their clients.
