Police arrest 24 for drunk driving

Police arrested 24 motorists for drunk driving during the week ending January 14, 2013. The year to date total of 68 is up 1.5 percent from the 67 arrested at this time last year. Major accidents are down 17.1 percent at 63, compared to 76 a year ago. And there have been seven traffic fatalities this year, while none had occurred at this time last year.
