County to hold meeting on North Kohala boat ramp

The County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold a public meeting tomorrow (January 23) in North Kohala to discuss a proposal to build a new boat ramp and breakwater at Mahukona Beach Park. The Army Corps of Engineers along with representatives from the Mayor’s Office and Parks department will provide an overview of the North Kohala Navigation Study process, present alternatives and take input from users. The meeting will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Māhukona Beach Park Pavilion.
