Search ends for missing fisherman off South Point

The Fire Department has called off its search for a 67-year old man who fell into the ocean late Sunday while fishing at South Point in Ka`u. The man was last seen by other fishermen about 50 yards off shore and traveling south in the current around 10:45 p.m. The search was suspended after fire air, water and ground units combed the area for a fourth consecutive day on Thursday with no results.
