Hawai`i gas prices resume upward climb

Retail gasoline prices rose throughout most of the state over the past week according to the AAA Hawai`i Weekend Gas Watch. The statewide average for a gallon of regular unleaded increased four cents to $4.08 per gallon, which was 11 cents more than last month and two cents higher than last year. Hilo’s average price climbed by three cents to $4.09 a gallon, which was nine cents more than last month and 16 cents less than this time last year.
