Merrie Monarch Ho`ike tickets go on sale today

Today is the first day that you can purchase tickets by mail for the 50th annual Merrie Monarch Festival’s Ho`ike on Wednesday, April 3. The event has traditionally been free, but this year organizers are planning a special celebration that includes some of the original dancers, first Kāne winners and special guests with many of the participants and families coming from off-island. Purchases are limited to a maximum of four tickets at $5.00 a piece and must be paid by cashier’s check or money order made payable to the Merrie Monarch Festival with a completed ticket request form which is available on-line.
