Man injured in zip line accident

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — A man who fell off a zip line was taken to Maui Memorial hospital where he was in stable condition. Emergency personnel were called to Skyline Eco Adventures at the Kahoma Ranch located above Lahaina early on New Year's Eve. They say three motorcyclists trespassed onto the ranch. One of them then got stuck midway on one of the skylines when he tried to use a rope to slide down the line. The 25-year-old man held on as long as he could, but eventually fell approximately 45 feet. Emergency personnel stabilized the man and hiked him out of the valley. He then was taken to the hospital.
