Hawaiian Air baggage fees rise

The Federal Bureau of Transportation says Hawaiian Airlines ranked 11th nationwide in total baggage fee collections during the third quarter with $18.1 million. The airline earlier took in $16.5 million in the second quarter and $16.1 million in the first quarter of 2012 for a year to date total of $50.76 million. Hawaiian said the increase in bag fees was due in part to the increased number of passengers on mainland routes.
