Tsunami threat postpones BIIF Division One title game

Saturday’s tsunami threat postponed the BIIF Division One title game between Kealakehe and Hilo with the Waveriders leading 20-14 just before half-time. The two teams will resume the contest at that point either Friday or Saturday at Kealakehe. In Friday night action, Konawaena won a shootout with visiting Hawai`i Prep by outscoring the Ka Makani 56 to 49 and Kamehameha won by forfeit over a player short Ka`u squad.
