Pohakuloa Opens for Weekend Bow Hunting

Pohakuloa Training Area will open several areas to bow hunting on Saturday October 27 and Sunday October 28. Training Areas 1, 2, 10 and 11 will be open for mammal hunting between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. All hunters must check in and check out at either the Kilohana or Huluhulu Hunter’s Check in Station, where hunting passes will be available after 5:00 p.m. today. No early access to hunting areas is permitted. Hunters must check out by 7 p.m. each day. Training areas 3 and 4 are closed to hunting due to military training.
