Police arrest 30 for drunk driving

Police arrested 30 motorists for drunk driving during the week ending October 14, 2012. The year to date total now stands at 1,123, which is off 3.4 percent from 1,163 during the same period last year. Major accidents are up 5.3 percent at 1,140, compared to 1,083 at this time a year ago. And the 32 traffic fatalities is double the 16 that had occurred by this time last year.
