Hawai`i pump prices mixed over past week

For the ninth week, gas prices in Hawai`i held steady or increased slightly, according to the AAA Hawai`i Weekend Gas Watch. The statewide average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline paused at $4.41, the same price as last week, four cents higher than last month and 20 cents higher than last year. In Hilo, the average gas price also held steady at $4.41 a gallon, but was up three cents from last month and eight cents from last year. Prices ticked up a penny to $4.35 a gallon in Honolulu and by two cents to $4.53 a gallon in Wailuku.
