HONOLULU (AP) — A longshot Republican candidate for the U.S. House says he’s staying in the race even after a nasty 14-foot fall from a ladder. Kawika Crowley told The Associated Press on Thursday that he broke his left wrist and badly sprained his right
ankle Friday night while doing a drywall job at a car dealership in Kaneohe. Crowley, a former Big Island recording and advertising executive is homeless, but works as a handyman and lives in his van.
