Big Island man charged with producing child porn

HONOLULU (AP) — A 56-year-old Big Island man is being charged with producing and distributing child pornography after the FBI asked the public for help finding him. John Tucker of Pahoa appeared in U.S. District Court in Honolulu two days after the FBI distributed a photo of a suspect and asked the public to help them identify him. Tucker was arrested Wednesday on the Big Island. An affidavit submitted with a criminal complaint says State of Hawaii authorities interviewed two children who identified themselves and Tucker in the pornographic images. The children say the acts depicted occurred at Tucker's home. Tucker has a preliminary hearing in two weeks. Tucker's lawyer Brian DeLima says he agrees with an FBI statement that suspects are innocent until proven guilty. He declined further comment.
