Morgue in Maui evacuated due to foul odor

WAILUKU, Hawaii (AP) — Maui County officials say the county morgue was evacuated and one person sent to the hospital because of a foul odor. A hazardous materials crew from the Maui Fire Department tested the air quality in the building after it was evacuated Thursday morning. The smell dissipated and authorities determined the air quality was safe. Officials say one employee was taken to the hospital after complaining of nausea at the scene.
