Police searching for stolen flatbed trailer

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a stolen homemade flatbed utility trailer, that was last seen September 17 in the area of Leila Road in Puna’s Fern Forest subdivision. The trailer is 16-feet long with newly-painted black fenders, double axles, four new tires, plastic mats and a wooden base, with the number “294” welded to the front supporting frame. If you have any information on the trailer’s whereabouts call Officer Shawn Matsuda at 965-2716.
