5,000 lose power in Molokai after pole fire

KAUNAKAKAI, Hawaii (AP) — Authorities say roughly 5,000 households lost, then regained power on Molokai after a pole caught fire near a power plant. Hawaii News Now reports the power was restored before 6:30 a.m. There are no injuries reported. Officials are investigating the cause of the fire near Palaau Power Plant.
