Pohakuloa open for weekend Bow Hunting

Pohakuloa Training Area will open several areas to bow hunting on Saturday and Sunday October 6 and 7. Training Areas 1-4, 10 and 11 will be open for mammal hunting between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. All hunters must check in and check out at either the Kilohana or Huluhulu Hunter’s Check in Stations where hunting passes will be available after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5. No early access to hunting areas is permitted, and hunters must check out by 7 p.m. each day. For more information, call the Hunter’s Hotline at 969-3474 or the Public Affairs Office at 969-2427
